- At least 5 tornadoes touched down in Carver County, southwest of Minneapolis, between 12:15 and 12:45 a.m.
- The tornadoes had wind speeds between 70 and 95 mph, causing quick but noticeable damage.
- They were rated EF-0 to EF-1, meaning they were weak to moderate in strength.

🏚️ Storm Damage
- Most of the damage was to trees, power lines, and some vehicles.
- One house and a garage were hit by fallen trees; a truck was crushed.
- Luckily, there were no injuries or deaths reported from the storms.
⚡ Power Outages
- Over 50,000 homes and businesses lost electricity during the storm.
- By 7 a.m. Sunday, the number dropped to around 33,000 still without power.

- Tornado sirens woke people up during the night.
- Officials recommend using more than one way to get severe weather alerts (like phone apps, sirens, texts).

- Police and emergency teams went door-to-door to check on people after the storm passed.
- Some roads like Highway 7 near Victoria were closed due to fallen trees and power lines.
- Residents were urged to stay indoors and avoid blocked or flooded roads.

- The National Weather Service (NWS) is still reviewing radar and storm reports.
- There may have been more tornadoes, especially near Canby and the Minnesota–South Dakota border.
